Homemade doesn’t have to be hard. This recipe takes only 20 minutes and a handful of ingredients.
These mini brownie bites have become a staple in our house. Better ingredients than store-bought, easier to make than you think and gone from my kitchen before I can hide any for myself. This is what the homemade life actually looks like for us these days. Not complicated, not time consuming, just one small thing that makes home feel a little warmer.
Servings: 24 brownie bites
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 22 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a mini muffin pan with spray oil (I use avocado oil) or line with mini muffin cups.
- In a medium bowl, whisk or sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. I prefer sifting to avoid clumps.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla until fully combined. Don’t over mix.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup ¾ of the way.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from pan.
Enjoy!
