Black and white are basically staples in my entire wardrobe but especially when it comes to work fashion. I have been experimenting with more color as of late, now that black is not my “official” work color, but I still tend to lean towards B+W the most. Why? 1) they pair easily with pretty much anything, 2) I don’t have to overthink my outfit, and 3) when working with clients and showing them products or finished spaces, I want my work to be the focus, not my clothing.
But black and white doesn’t have to be boring. Take a look at these pieces that have interesting yet classic lines, patterns and accents to stand out enough without being obnoxious.
