What to Wear: Spring + Summer Wedding Guest Styles- Part 2

Spring + Summer are prime time for outdoor weddings; whether it be at a lakeside property, a mountain lodge or the ever popular vineyard, outdoor weddings create a beautiful backdrop for vows + a party. Not to mention that it also helps save a ton on decor!

Since the category of “outdoor” weddings is pretty broad, I tried to choose inspiration dresses + accessories that would fit into any of the above mentioned locations. These dresses are beautiful but simple enough that you can make themas fancy or downplayed as the destination requires. Almost all the shoes I chose are also outdoor friendly by being either flat, wedge or block heel. No sinking into the grass here!

SHORT + SWEET: I Love this Lilly Pulitzer dress, especially since it doesn’t look like your standard Lilly with all the bright pinks + greens; it’s definitely more subdued and versatile. Keep it classy + muted with a woven clutch and a woven or block heel sandal. Or give it an edge with this Rebecca Minkoff ‘Leo’ clutch (my absolute fave!) in a mirrored metallic and a cage shoe or a bright orange-coral sandal.

MIDI MAGIC: This color blue is one I gravitate toward often and is especially great for warmer weather events. The off the shoulder and bell sleeves on this Chelsea28 dress give it a more casual feel for outdoor soirees. Keep the fun of this outfit going with these awesome Tory Burch feather or Rebecca Minkoff tassel earrings and a playful clutch in a bright color or eye-catching pattern like this Clare V. bag. Keep the shoes simple since there is a lot going on with the bell sleeves.

LONG + LOVELY: I’m obsessed with Eliza J dresses this season! It was so hard to choose a dress for this style but I love this one. I’m not usually a fan of floral prints, especially ones that are trending now (so many look old lady-ish) but the large floral print has more of a watercolor effect and has a lot of colors to play off of. Anything in the dark purple, soft to bright pinks, orange or gold color scheme just adds to the beauty!
